Wicklow Gaol was built in 1702, due to the fact that the older gaol in the Abbey Grounds was in a very bad condition and was not secure. The gentry of the period paid £5 each towards the new building. The gaol was also the Headquarters of the Cheshire and Lancashire Regiments in the War of Independence and housed Anti-Treaty Republicans in the Civil War before closing down in 1924.

Castle Howard has been home to the Howard family for more than 300 years. Explore iconic architecture and beautiful interiors when you visit the House, including the Great Hall which rises 70 feet into the air. With 1,000 acres of parkland to explore, Castle Howard has extensive woodland walks, temples, lakes and fountains. There are breath taking views at every turn, taking in the Howardian Hills.

Killruddery House & Gardens near Bray in County Wicklow has been home to the Brabazon Family, the Earls of Meath since 1618. The gardens are some of the oldest in Ireland, providing an impressive destination for relaxing and leisurely walks.

Dublin is a beautiful City with lots of street entertainers to entertain you. Why not take a tram ride to see other parts of the city. Don’t forget to see Molly Malone’s statue or visit the Guinness Museum. There is also a Hop on and off bus to explore the best sights of Dublin.
